One of the clearest signs of redemption in our tradition is when the Land of Israel gives its fruits generously. Rashi teaches that when Eretz Yisrael begins to bloom again, it means the land is awake and responding to its people. Today, we see this with our own eyes: wine, agriculture, innovation, and abundance.

That’s why Tu Bishvat has become so elevated in our time. Tasting the fruits of Eretz Yisrael isn’t just physical; it’s spiritual. It’s a way of connecting to the land, its kedushah, and the unfolding story of return. When the land flourishes, so does the soul of the people. L’chaim.
