The Spirituallity of Thanksgiving

B"H

I’ve been thinking a lot about the deeper spiritual meaning of Thanksgiving and how it ties back to the name Yehuda (Judah), which comes from the word hoda’ah, gratitude.

In Judaism, thankfulness isn’t just a nice idea. It’s a core spiritual practice. A way of grounding ourselves.

A way of recognizing that even when life feels heavy or complicated, there are still blessings worth noticing.

Gratitude isn’t about ignoring the hard parts, it’s about seeing God’s kindness through them.

And that, to me, is the heart of this season.
