The Haggadah is “guilty” of Zionism 🇮🇱

Because the Jewish story is a story of going from slavery to freedom, and from exile to Eretz Yisrael.

We say it clearly. Hashata avdei, now we are slaves. Lashana haba’ah bnei chorin. Hashata hacha, now we are here. Lashana haba’ah b’Eretz Yisrael.

This is not a side idea. It is the story.

You can’t separate Judaism from the hope of returning home without losing something essential.

Pesach is about identity. Who we are, where we’re going, and what we’re building.
