The Spirituality of Snow

B"H
There is something quietly powerful about snow. The way it falls, the way it settles on the trees, the stillness it creates. In Judaism, Torah is called מַיִם, water, because it gives life to the soul the way water gives life to the body. Most of the time, water is hidden and flowing. But when it snows, water becomes solid and suddenly it is everywhere.
Snow reminds us that Torah is meant to be seen and lived all around us. Not abstract or distant, but something that surrounds us and shapes how we see and move through the world. And snow is white, the color of purity and renewal, reminding us that Torah is meant to cleanse us, refine us, and help us become better people with Hashem, with ourselves, and with those we love.
