I’ve been thinking a lot about the spiritual side of sleep in Judaism, how it’s so much more than just recharging our bodies.

When I go to sleep, it’s actually an act of surrender, of handing myself over to Hashem with complete trust.

It’s a moment of total vulnerability, total faith, and a reminder that even in our deepest rest, we’re held by something bigger than us.
